Born Sioux Rapids, IA to Anna
and Herman Larsen. Married
Thomas McGee in Los Angeles on
on Oct 27, 1944 and moved to
San Leandro. Survived by her
children Mary McGee, Marilyn
Briggs and Daniel McGee
(Ellen), grandchildren Thomas
and Lana McGee, sister Helen
Paulson, brother Harold
Larsen (Anne), and 7 nieces
and nephews. Predeceased by
her husband Tom and her
brother Hartvieg Larson, USAF.
Frances passed away peacefully
at her home at Baywood Court,
Castro Valley, enjoying her
life there. She was an active
member of St. Leander School
and Bishop O’Dowd High
School, where she organized
many great fundraisers, and
started the annual Crab Feed,
which continues to today with
great success. She was an
active member of the Society
of Former Special Agents of
the FBI. A travel agent for
over 20 years, she wrote and
led tours around the world,
making lifetime friendships
with people everywhere in her
travels. She shared her life
experiences with all, finding
common ground with new people
throughout her lifetime.
Frances will be greatly
missed for her smile,
laughter, dry humor, and her
kindness to all whom were
blessed to know her.

or Alameda County Food Bank.
A memorial Mass will be held
5/9 at 10:30 am at St.Leander
Church, with a reception to
celebrate her life afterwards,
where people are encouraged
to share memories of Fran.
