Another year has passed Alison. The class of '75 will always think of you forever.

Missing you, Alison. Things just aren't the same since you left. Such an empty spot. We love you, sweet angel. 💚💕💚

Time goes on, but memories are always present. The Class of '75 will never forget you, Alison.

I just found out now about Alison's passing....I didn't even know. I have a huge lump in my throat, she was such a sweet kid back in school.  My condolences to her family and anyone who knew her- last time I saw her was in Coolidge Jr. H S.  I was hoping to see her at a future re-union....I'm actually tearing up      God bless you Alison  

Alison was a sweetheart!  I remember her cute pigtails and great smile as a teen. I miss her funny posts. She had a great sense of humor!

No one could giggle like Alison. I will miss you, forever. 💚

So sorry to hear about Alison's passing.  She was very involved in our high school and a friend to everyone!

The Class of '75 will never forget you, Alison.

I don't know what to say. My brother dated Alison in high school so that is how I know her. I remember Christmas of 1976 and planning a cross country road trip the summer of 1978. I would be graduating high school and I think she would be  ending her junior year of college. Some time in-between Alison did a semester of collage in England and meet Trevor.  Long story short, in mid July of 1978 Alison, her sister Robin, Robin's friend (so sorry I forgot your name), Trevor, and Trevor's friend Malcom and I set out from Natick, MA  for a six week cross country trip. I  had the best time and have such great memories of that trip.   Alison was such a beautiful person with a huge heart. My condolences to her family.

I am so saddened to learn of Alison’s passing.  She was a great friend throughout our high school years.  While we lost touch over time, I remember her positive and captivating personality. 

We spent many hours listening  to John Denver and Cat Stevens and always enjoyed time with friends a bit more when she was in the room.  Philly-Pooh will miss you!

I met Alison in the late 90s at a law firm where we both worked in San Rafael. She was a bundle of energy and fun. She loved and bragged about her sons. Her nickname for me was "Pesky Sue".  😏 
I don't ever remember seeing her in anything  other than a cheerful and/or sometimes feisty mood.  Through the years we followed each other on FB.  
Rest well Alison.  My condolences to her family.

I met Alison at the end of my first year in college. I hadn’t liked my freshman year much, and had decided to go to summer school to finish college faster and get out earlier. That all changed after I met Alison.... we roomed together all summer and suddenly college was fun! We laughed all the time and did crazy things and didn’t worry about what people thought of us! We made plans to backpack around Europe the following summer ( I would never have had the nerve to plan this myself!) and had the trip of a lifetime !! I have so many wonderful memories of that trip! Alison taught me to open up to people and new experiences and always see the fun side of life. 

We’ve kept in touch, but living on opposite sides of the country, we didn’t see each other often.
But since my daughters moved to California a few years ago I have been lucky enough to get out there to see her a few times. We met for lunch earlier this year and talked for hours. I was looking forward to lots more visits.....

Alison was a friend to many of us in junior high and high school.  Her sweet nature and great sense of humor attracted a variety of people from all walks of life.  She re-connected with us at our reunion in 2010 and we were all happier for that connection.  I hope she knew how much she was loved and admired.  Many people wrote their thoughts on her passing on our Class of 1975 web site.  There is an overwhelming sorrow knowing she is gone.  She is missed.

Alison Bentley King
20 APRIL, 1957 – 24 DECEMBER, 2019

On the day before Christmas, Alison King passed away.  A few months ago, we spoke by phone and for the first time, I heard fear in her voice about her health.   It is a hard life where alcohol is your frequent companion.  

I met Alison King in my first month at college 45 years ago at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY.  Oh, what a spirit, what joy, what love, what a zest for life.  Alison was a force of love in nature.  After college she moved to the Bay area, had three sons and spent years as a paralegal in the city and Marin County.  Every time I visited San Francisco, we’d meet and pick up our conversation as if it was just a day, not a few years since we had last gotten together.  Her mother died when Alison was in college and her father, Raymond, a lawyer died recently.  She is survived by two sisters, one in Maine, one in Alaska.

Very sorry to hear about this. Alison was a very kind person. I graduated from Natick High with her. She will be sadly missed.
