Chris was a nice guy. I regret that I couldn't see himlast time he was in Baltimore due to our tight schedules. I will miss our arguements, laughters and his emails. I remember the first time I meet him in Baltimore during his car rental, he became a very good friend and advisor for me who helped me move in the right direction of my career.

I was shocked to hear of Chris's death when I returned to Marin Catholic after spring break. I always will think of him him as one of my favorite people. His smile and joy in life could light up a room. His love of and commitment to his family always impressed me, as did his deep faith and how he guided his kids, yet supported them in following their own dreams. I feel blessed to have known him and to have been his kids' counselor at MC. Love and prayers. If there is anything I can do to support you during this difficult time, please let me know.

I will remember Chris as the most charismatic and vivacious father of one of my very best friends, Cara. Listening to his hilarious rhetoric on the other end of the phone with Cara is something that will always bring a smile to my face. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this difficult time.
All my love,

My husband and daughter and I rented from Chris on Stetson just last year. Chris was the best landlord ever. He was always helpful and encouraging to us when we moved to Marin from Tahoe trying to rebuild! We shared the Catholic faith and cherished all his visits because he was optimistic, encouraging. A stop by always ended up a in a deep conversation in the kitchen with his doggie. Gracie loved his visits. He was a caring man and our family is really sad and our thoughts and prayers are with the Palombi's.

Jim, I'm really sorry to hear of Chris's death. I know he will be deeply missed by his family and colleagues. I didn't know Chris all to well but one nice memory that you may want to share with his family occurred when Ken and I were in San Jose in January.
We conducted a lunch and learn seminar and had lots of food left over upon conclusion. Being the thoughtful person that he was, Chris took the extra food to the St. Vincent DePaul soup kitchen or similar location for the hungry. This was obviously a typical act of kindness that Chris exhibited routinely.
Again, I'm sorry to hear of Chris's passing. Please pass along my deepest sympathy to his family.
Sincerely,
Jeff Turner
Note: Jim Elder and Jeff Turner worked with Chris at Computer Air Power Systems. As Christian Brothers we will see Chris again....

I want to express my deepest sympathies and condolences to the Palombi family. I worked with Chris for a number of years at Accenture and he was always a delight to have around. He was always smiling and had good things to say. No problem was too tough for him to solve.
After he left Accenture we kept in touch by having periodic lunches at Rancho Nicasio. It was a peaceful place in the country where we could both relax, talk and enjoy life. I looked forward to these visits always and will miss having lunch with my lunch partner. He always talked about his family and was very proud of his children and loved them very much.
