Age 80, entered peacefully into God's hands on Tuesday June 30, 2020 at her San Rafael home surrounded by her son after a battle with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. Connie was born in Sacramento, California on March 05, 1940. She worked as a hotel housekeeper, and then as a nursing assistant. Connie loved cooking, swimming, traveling, playing with cats, and spending time with her family and friends.
Connie is survived by her children, Ellen Leiva and her husband Jairo of Petaluma, Rowland Morey and his fiancee Ruth of San Leandro, Katie Esquivel and her husband Manuel of San Diego, and Connie Dade and her husband Ingram of Visalia. Also, ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren; four brothers and one sister. Connie was full of energy and laughter, as well as enjoyed being around family. Family was vitally and essentially important to Connie, and she will be forever missed by her family and all those who knew and loved her.
In conclusion, death is that state in which one exists only in the memory of others, which is why it is not an end. Therefore, NO goodbyes. Just good memories. Au revoir Connie, the world is emptier without your presence, but you are in Heaven alongside God now watching over all of us.
