Gordon Ashdown William Gordon Ashdown was born in Temecula, CA on April 12, 1929, and went to be with Jesus on February 10, 2014. He is survived by Lurine, his loving wife of 66 years, and their two sons and wives, Dewayne and Lynn of Houston, TX and Tim and Diane of Petaluma, CA. He was also the proud grandpa of Alicia, Melissa and husband Peter, Janet, and Steven and great-grandpa of Joshua, Gabriel and Nathan. Gordon has been reunited in Heaven with his parents, John and Lena, and siblings, Herman and Gladys. After many years working in several trades and professions, Gordon and Lurine moved to Marin County in 1962. Gordon had a successful career of more than 20 years building custom homes in Marin County, followed by five years in the Marin County Assessor's Office. The most important things in Gordon's life were his family and his faith in God. He was a devoted follower of Christ and an active member of Trinity Community Church in San Rafael for over 50 years. A Visitation will be held at Keaton's Mortuary in San Rafael, from 6:00-8:00PM on Friday, February 14. The celebration of Gordon's life will be at noon on Saturday, February 15 at Trinity Community Church, 1675 Grand Ave. in San Rafael. Interment will be at Valley Memorial Park in Novato. Donations in Gordon's honor may be made to Trinity Community Church or Hospice by the Bay.

The Gordon Ashdown Family
I was so sorry to hear about Gordon's passing. I was in the glass business in Marin for many years and had to good fortune of working with and for him. I always looked up to and respected him very much. I know he will be missed very much. My thoughts and prayers will be with him.
