Fran & family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. While I never met John in person, I knew him well from our online correspondance regarding the GAZDIK genealogy. He was a mentor, friend, and cheerleader for me at a time when I desparately needed a little encouragement. I was getting nowhere with the name and he helped me regain my enthusiasm. As I made progress, I found that indeed John was distantly related to my husband's family.
Godspeed John, and I will hold you and all your family in my prayers.

I met John in 1976 when I started working at J&H. It was John who helped me get a job there (he told my dad, Ray Knuepfer, about an opening in the property department). I enjoyed working with him all those years.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
