

Lloyd Milton Watson On Thursday, September 17, 2015, Lloyd Milton Watson, 90, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.He was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on June 8, 1925. He was the 5th child and youngest son of eight children of Oma and Wick Watson. He lived in the dust bowl until the age of 8, at which time the family migrated to California. Lloyd graduated from Clovis High School and after the war attended Fresno State. He met his wife of 22 years, Kathryn Willis, a nurse at St. Francis Hospital, in 1948.At 18, Lloyd joined the US Navy and was trained in the new science of radar. During World War II, he sailed on the USS Richmond and was stationed in the Aleutian Islands.In 1962, he opened Watson Real Estate on Geary Blvd. He "loved to make a deal!" He retired early continuing to enjoy traveling, fishing, hunting, and sailing. In 1965, although he had never sailed before, Lloyd purchased a 1907 86' schooner called, the Martha. When he was featured in the Sausalito Yacht Club's newsletter he said, "It was a good adventure in my life and I really loved that boat".The last 30 years, he spent half the year in La Paz, Mexico, where he went deep sea fishing and played a dice game of "10 thousand".He is survived by daughters, Barbara (Ken) Krzywicki, Marcia (Henry) Wood; granddaughters, Aimee Krzywicki and Nikki Wood, sisters Erma (Chuck) Phillips, Bette Sacks, Wynema Fitzpatrick, many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He is deeply loved and his passing leaves a hole in our hearts. Memorial service October 14th 11:30am at St. Luke Presbyterian Church, 10 Bayview Dr, San Rafael, 94901. Keaton's Mortuary entrusted with arrangements.
