Pete and I are thinking of you and remembering Loy fondly. We miss seeing you at the courts, and hope it won’t be too long before we can give you a big hug in person.

Marilyn and Cassie,
I just saw that you lost Loy last month and wanted to send you our sincere condolences. He always had a smile on his face and was such a nice man., always willing to help when he could. Whenever we drive by your place in San Rafael I smile with such fond memories of you all and all of the fun times you gave to the Girl Scouts.
I’m hoping that you have had a happy life and are enjoying your grandkids, as we do ours.
Sending prayers and hugs,
Kathy and Frank

Loy was an extraordinary man. His kindness to our family will always be remembered. Not only did he hire me at Marin Parks and Recreation, but, when I was laid off due to county budgets cuts in the late 1970's, he found and recommended me for a similar position with Kaiser, which I recently retired from.
Loy taught many about landscaping, but he taught much more about understanding, selflessness, and generosity of spirit. He will truly be missed. May his new journey be blessed......

Loy was always such a caring man. I met Loy bowling in San Rafael and I have long considered Loy a friend and will always have many memories of Loy.
