Marie Campbell

Marie M. Campbell On March 16, 2013, in San Rafael, Marie M. Campbell died peacefully. She was the loving and beloved wife of the late William C. Campbell for 59 years. She was the loving mother of five children: Ronald W. Campbell, Mariellen Campbell Salin, Kathleen Campbell, Stephen Campbell and Laura Campbell. She was the proud and loving grandmother of Zachary Salin, Peter Campbell, Jared Salin, Andrew Campbell and Christopher Campbell, and the dear mother-in-law of Jane Campbell, Doug Salin and Pomp Campbell. She also leaves seven nieces and nephews. Marie was born in San Francisco on May 26, 1928. Her parents, Alexander C. and Mary Mayhood, and her sister, Patricia M. Schneider, preceded her in death. She was an alumna of St. Paul's High School and San Francisco College for Women, Lone Mountain. Marie taught in San Francisco secondary schools, but her life was devoted to her husband and children, and she was always happiest when surrounded by her loving family. She will be remembered for her kindness and her generous spirit. In her memory, the family asks for donations to St. Anthony's Dining Room, the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Marin County or Hospice by the Bay. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mission San Rafael, 1104-5th Avenue, San Rafael, on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at 10:30 AM. Funeral arrangements are by Keaton's Mortuary in San Rafael.
