
Marilyn Helen Epidendio Marilyn passed away peacefully after a short illness at age 81. She grew up in Brooklyn, New York where she loved to skip school to go to the movies. Her family moved to Long Beach, California where she graduated from high school. They settled in Larkspur where she met Richard Epidendio. They married and lived in Marin County where they raised their three children Lynn, Jan and Richard. They were married for over 40 years until his unexpected death in 1997. She was an avid bowler and was a member of the Western Women's Professional Bowling Association. She loved the theatre spending many years working with the Novato Community Players. She was very creative, involving herself in all aspects of theatre including writing, directing, producing, acting, set design and costume design. She also enjoyed golf, board games, Boggle and spending time with her grandchildren and her dog Sheeza. She made many friends in her lifetime and enjoyed their company. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard Silvo Epidendio, her brothers Joseph, Richard and Ken Laden, her granddaughter Mari Lyn Epidendio and her parents Richard and Helen Laden. She is survived by her sister Janet Murphy, her children Lynn Epidendio Aldridge and her husband Barry, Jan Epidendio Lennon and her husband Matt, and Richard Patrick Epidendio. She also had four surviving grandchildren Kate Lennon, Shaun Lennon, Lindsey Fish and Richard Epidendio who will all miss her dearly. There will be a Celebration of her Life to be held on Monday July 2 at 1:00 PM at Keaton's Mortuary, 1022 E Street, San Rafael.
