Michael S. Sabella

Michael Simon Sabella Michael was born in Jerusalem on February 18, 1948, and sadly passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016, at the age of 68. He is survived by his wife Merna Sabella and two children Simon and Muna Sabella, his sisters Julie Jizrawi, Rose Marzouca, Siham Saleh, Imrance Kudsieh, Madlein Antar, Lucy Rafidia and Samia Giragossian as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; he was predeceased by his parents Simon and Mary Sabella and his sisters Jano Kirey and Nuha Shwihat. He came to California during the early seventies and had spent his entire life as a prideful, hard-working man, from multiple jobs in Jerusalem to coming to America and owning his own gas station, later leading him to manage much more. He was the only beloved brother among his nine sisters. Mike was truly like no other; spreading his infectious spirit on to all those around him. Being surrounded by such a large kinship growing up, he has always been a family man. He married his wife Merna on April 28, 1985, and soon after began creating a family of his own. His two grown children, Simon and Mona, exude the same positive energy as their father did and their inherent larger than life personality is prominent within them. He was truly loved and cherished by all that knew him. Celebration of Life Mass at St. Anselms Church in Ross on Friday, July 22, 2016. Rosary will be held at Keaton's Mortuary in San Rafael at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, July 20th, and Thursday, July 21st.
