

Philip Gordon born in Carson City NV, passed away August 30,2016 in San Rafael, CA. His deceased parents were Elmer Gordon his father, and John and Mildred Bogoiolo.The family moved to San Anselmo in 1945 where he grew up, graduating from Sir Francis Drake High School. Shortly after graduation he was drafted into the U.S. Army serving two years in Fort San Antonio, TX from which he was honorably discharged. He had a successful career as a computer technician when the industry was still developing retiring after many years from Unysis. He then worked for several more years at Woodland Auto Parts Company in San Rafael until shortly before his passing. He found joy and satisfaction in the silent and precise work of crafting model remote-control airplanes. This was a hobby his father John introduced him to at a very young age and he pursued and shared with others all his life. Though he was quiet by nature, he was well-liked by all who crossed his path. He was predeceased by his loving wife Geraldine many years ago. He is survived by his loving and caring sister Carolyn Rawlinson and his son Raymond.Services will be held at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael on Monday September 12, 2016 at 11AM with a graveside service immediately to follow.
