Richard Becker

Richard I. Becker Born March 25, 1930 Richard passed away July 30, 2011 in San Rafael, CA. Richard was loved and respected by his friends and family. Prior to retirement he was owner and Manager of Becker Construction Services in El Cerrito, CA and lived with his loving wife Julia in San Rafael. Richard was born and raised in Berkeley CA and got his Bachelor degree from the University of California. During and after the Korean War he saw service in the United States Coast Guard in the Pacific Theatre. Richard enjoyed tennis and running as well as bridge. Over the past twenty years he made many friends who enjoyed these pastimes with him. Richard was preceded in death by his mother Florence Patterson and his father Hugo E. Becker. He is survived by his spouse Julia Becker, brother Hugo B. Becker, nephew Scott Becker of Rifle, CO and niece Nancy B. Petersen.
