                      all of us that come and go through barbies door and especially Barbie..... she misses you more than shell admit.

Dear Caryn,
          I met you once over at Barbies house and I remember thinking how awesome to have not just a bestfriend who is your sister but to look alike. My sister and I were not twins although some thought we were (we dont look alike at all) due to we sounded alike, did everything together and usually where one of us were the other was not far behind if not already there. I lost my beloved sister, my bestfriend going on 8yrs ago and it still hurts just as it was yesterday. I havent seen you since that day when Sharyn so happily and proudly introduced you to me however Barbie tells me when you come by and the happiness and pride in her voice and eyes when she tells me is a mirrored image of that day with Sharyn. There is not a sunday that passes without one of us mentioning Sharyn and never a sunday that I do not look at that picture I took of the two of them. I hope this holiday season is full of everything that you love about your sister because then youll know that she is still and always has been right here by your side - she never left - I feel Sharyn all the time when I am at barbies especially yesterday when i was 3hrs late due to just driving back from Reno. Anyway, I pray that it is getting easier to deal with and the tears are a little more few and far between, And remember there are those of us who know your pain only to well.

I came upon this news quite by accident and many months-over a year late - forgive me. May God be with you all as you come together this Holiday and remember her joyful smile. Your family(ies) blessed me/mine so much throughout the years - may yours be carried into multiple blessings in the future. Today Sharon is remembered and missed.

Caryn:  I am so sorry for your loss.  My sister, Janet, told me about Sharyn's passing. Please accept my condolences to you and  your family.  I have fond memories of both of you at Marin Catholic, including the great graduation party the two of you hosted.  Such a long time ago!  Hopefully, I will run into you again soon, while in Marin visiting.

Sharyn,  We met as young children,I remember wanting to have your name Sharyn and a twin sis, We must have been about 5 years old then. We (my family) moved to Marin ,and we ended up being in the same grammar school St. Patricks. you and Caryn would sing and play the guitar....I have such fond and sisterly feelings towards both of you, I am saddened to hear of your passing , My world just got alot smaller.... I had always hoped that we would  have had contact again,

Sharyn is and always will be a loving, special friend!  I will miss our frequent phone calls and our laughs as we shared our many memories together. Although I have only known you Sharyn since July I feel like its been years. I always looked forward to your visits with Barbie while I was there..... and I still do. I see your smile and hear your laughter throughout her house to the backyard. My heart goes out to your loved ones especially the boys and Caryn. I do take some comfort in knowing that in a way you are still here as all I have to do is look at Caryn to see your smile and that is a beautiful privilege. Im proud of your accomplishment you proved a few wrong and alot right. I am feel honored and very blessed to have met you and have you in my life.

I never got the chance to get to know Sharyn as much as I would have like to. Through Robbie I was able to learn just how special Sharyn is. 

We will never know why God felt he needed her more then her fmaily. She will truely be missed by all.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I loved our "Doll Lunch Sundays" with you , Caryn and our dolls!

If one is lucky, a person finds a friend like Sharyn once in a lifetime. Thank you, Sharyn, for being this friend.  I will miss our 31 years of precious friendship. Not a holiday went by that you did not invite me over with open arms. Forever it  will be etched in my heart how back in 1979-1985 you sang cute songs, played guitar, games, read stories, taught cooking, art and social skills to hundreds of 2- 5 year olds at Paradise Preschool in Corte Madera. Your passion for early childhood education was genuine, and  your teaching continued over the years at numerous schools within the County. 
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Your loving family, dog, many friends and colleagues, along with your collection of dollies, will all miss you.
