Uncle Mac was such a wonderful man, I called him a gentle giant.. when I was little I used to dance on his feet while he would do the box step.. i loved it! I have great memories of visiting both my Aunt and Uncle for summers in Oakland, swimming in the pool and watching birds and doing puzzles.. They never missed my birthday parties, and I enjoyed spending every Christmas with them both.. He will be forever missed and our families have a huge whole in our hearts..

My Uncle Mac ... I have such wonderful memories ... as a child, flying to San Francisco "on my own" for a visit ... sipping grape juice and eating pretzels with the grown ups. 
Many years later, I brought my own daughter to visit and look at colleges. Even though his eyesight was failing,  Uncle Mac was our personal tour guide at UC Berkley.
My son followed with the same trip 4 years later. 
We all LOVED visiting Aunt Joan and Uncle Mac. 
Uncle Mac was such a special person, always kind, with a warm smile and generous sense of humor.
We will miss you so.
