Amanda Monaghan

Mrs. Amanda T. (Ferrari) Monaghan, 50, of Sagamore Beach, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth. She was the beloved wife of Paul Monaghan with whom she shared nearly 26 years of marriage.

Born in Wareham, Amanda was the daughter of David “Bruce” Ferrari, Sr. and Susan Ann Drew. She was a very well loved person who always enjoyed entertaining and cooking for people. A Christian, Amanda was devoted to her family. She was known for being able to bring everyone together, and loved spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Amanda is also survived by her daughters, Emily and Megan Monaghan of Sagamore Beach, and siblings, David Ferrari, Jr. of Wareham, Brian Ferrari and wife Sharon of Sandwich, Robert Ferrari and wife Teri of FL, Angela Compton and husband Jerry of FL and Daniel Ferrari and wife Amy of FL.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, Sandwich on Thursday from 4-8PM. Funeral Services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to Friends of Plymouth Pound, PO Box 578, Manomet, MA 02345.
