To the family of Ronnie, My deepest condolences to you. I have lived on Boardwalk Rd for the last 10 years. My neighbor George introduced me to Ronnie shortly after moving in. Ronnie kept his lobster boat and rowboat (PT109) at the little pier behind my home. We called Ronnie, "Ronnie the Lobsterman!" He was such a sweet guy. Always enjoyable to talk to. Well into his 90's he would jump into his little rowboat and paddle out to his skiff standing up. He would go tend his traps and return with his catch. We will always remember Ronnie! I had always planned to give this picture to Ronnie. Rest in peace Ronnie!

Ronnie worked for me and with me at the Sandwich Transfer Station. He taught me how to operate the back hoe and how to Operate the equipment when I first started there. He was a good ol’e boy that use to tell all of his back in the day stories about sandwich and the Navy. He was a great guy and always a pleasure to be around. I always referred to him as Captain Ronnie. I have never known anybody to work Well into their 90’s, but he was a tough ol’e boy who will be forever missed. Rest In Peace. My condolences to his Daughter, Son and Granddaughter.
