GARRON, Charlotte Ann (Gibbons), 59, of New Bedford, MA, passed on December 30, 2019 at Falmouth Hospital after an extensive battle with Leukemia. She was born to Edward and Lorraine Gibbons (Davis) on October 28, 1960 in Boston, MA.

Charlotte spent her formative years in Brighton, MA, before moving to Natick, MA where she graduated from Natick High School in 1978. She went on to major in English Literature and Spanish at Clark University in Worcester, MA, where she was a member of both the varsity swim and crew team.

Charlotte always had an adventurous spirit and love of travel, which lead her to spend time on an immersion trip to Mexico and sailing the east coast of the United States as a cook on the Sloop Providence.

Upon graduating from college Charlotte worked for major insurance companies, which brought her to Chicago, Houston, and San Francisco. She loved exploring these new places and made friends wherever she went.

The arrival of her first born son Aiden, brought her back home to be near family. A few years later, her second son Steven was born. Charlotte loved nothing more than being a mom to her boys and always enjoyed watching them play in various sporting events and hearing about their fishing adventures.

Charlotte had over 40 cousins and loved nothing more than a family party or a house full of people. Many will remember her infectious laugh and great stories. Although taken too soon, Charlotte truly lived a full life, encompassed by her many friendships, hobbies, and talents.

She is survived by her parents Ned & Lorraine of West Barnstable, MA; husband Steven Garron and sons Aiden & Steven Garron, all of New Bedford, MA; brother Ned Gibbons, Jr. of West Barnstable, MA; sister Nadine Kelly (Gibbons), brother-in-law Brian, and nieces Rainey & Molly Kelly all of West Barnstable, MA; and many other beloved friends and family.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday January 3, 2020 at Our Lady of Hope Chapel, 1581 Main St. West Barnstable, MA at 10am, Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday January 2nd from 5-8pm at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 rt. 6A Sandwich, MA 02563.

My deepest condolences to the Garron and Gibbons families. Charlotte was a firecracker and her friendship was a blessing. We laughed often about my inability to learn how to knit in her class. I was one of the lucky ones to receive one of her beautiful creations. The world will miss her.

Charlotte you will be missed. Gone too soon. My first introduction with you was you telling me about how much you loved to dance, and that you and Beau (your friend, my boyfriend at the time), had danced your butts off and
won a dance contest! That is how I will remember you, dancing and laughing! Love you.
