

Cloretta L. Rodgers (Cassoli) of Sandwich passed away peacefully with family at her side, and went to heaven on December 17, 2022, at the age of 79. She was an amazing woman, mother, wife, and friend to those fortunate to have known her.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 59 years, Michael; sons Kenneth and wife Julie, and Michael Jr.; grandchildren Isabelle, Maxwell, Jack, Presley, and Aleah; sisters Helen O’Donnell (and husband James), Diane Petrella (and husband Robert), and Donna Kunkel (and husband Frank); and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was the daughter of the late Caesar and Juliette Cassoli.
Cloretta grew up in Wellesley and later moved to Sandwich on Cape Cod. She loved her family above all else. She was so proud of her grandchildren. She was a wonderful loving mother and cherished grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and feeding family and friends. She was an avid gardener, and every year she grew amazing tomatoes, and loved to plant beautiful red flowers all around her home. She also loved her annual adventures to her beloved winter home in Fort Myers Florida.
Family and Friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home located at 154 Route 6A in Sandwich, on Wednesday December 28, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Her funeral mass will be held at 11:00am on Thursday December 29, at Corpus Christi Church, located at 324 Quaker Meetinghouse Rd, East Sandwich, followed by interment at the Bourne National Cemetery.
