Constance Anne Burbank

She was born in Pittsford, Vt in 1931 to proud parents, Joy and John Fallon. Connie married her longtime sweetheart, Edwin Lester Burbank in 1951. A Navy career took the couple to many areas of the country to live; including Hawaii, Washington, Virginia, Bermuda and finally retiring to Sandwich in 1968.

Along the way and through the years, Connie embraced what became the most important role of her life; motherhood. She raised five children and was a sweet and loving active grandmother to eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Her last wishes were to live long enough to welcome into this world two more great grandchildren, both due to arrive in December. Also included in her wish to live was to witness the nuptials of two more of her grandsons this Fall. She will be attending all of these celebrations in spirit.

Connie's hobbies when not playing with children included; sewing, knitting, crocheting and quilt making, as well as furniture refinishing, baking, and traveling by motorhome. Her family and friends continue to cherish the amazing sweaters, quilts and blankets she created for them. Connie was an animal lover as well, loving and caring for countless pets throughout her life.

Connie is survived by her devoted husband, Edwin Lester Burbank. Loving mother of two daughters; Lesley Burbank Forte and husband Rex, of Golden, Colorado, Ann Burbank and her partner Gerry Scott of Sandwich, also, three sons and their wives, Glen & his wife Marybeth, Kevin & his wife Margaret, and Andrew & his wife Susan, all of Sandwich. Also surviving are her beloved grandchildren; Lianna Forte of Colorado, Joshua Burbank & Adam Burbank of Sandwich, Ma, Daniel Burbank of Westboro, Ma, Samantha Burbank and Alexandria Burbank, both of Plymouth, Ma, Jacqueline Kalaher of Randolph,Vermont and Brandon Burbank of New Market, NH. Also surviving are three precious great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
