OBITUARY

Darwin Dale Glover III

April 13, 1952May 15, 2020

Dale D. Glover III; an incredible man, son, brother, husband, Dad, Pop Pop, brother-in-law, uncle, best friend, friend and colleague, passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully, on May 15, 2020 at his home in Sandwich, MA. Dale was sixty-eight years old and surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 13, 1952 in Neptune City, NJ to the late Darwin Dale Glover II and Pearl Glover (Wakefield) who still resides in NJ.

He is not only survived by his loving mother but also his devoted wife, Barbara, of forty-six years of marriage, his beloved son Ryan Glover and wonderful daughter-in-law, Denise, of Sandwich, MA; his adored grandchildren: Harry, Lainie and Marshall who lit up his world every day, and his sister, Ab Menditto of Neptune, NJ.

Dale’s last full day with us was one he well deserved. A beautiful sunny day in which he caught a fish in the morning, read a book, sang and listened to his favorite music, enjoyed a Manhattan on his deck with his son who was his pride and joy and shared with his wife “What a perfect day!” he had had. If you are lucky to be the type of man that Dale was, you have the “world on a string.” Unselfish, hard-working, extremely loving and one who had an endless sense of humor. His greatest treasures were his FAMILY, his friends and especially his Tomatoes’ Crew.

Remember Dale’s contagious smile, do the same… and he will always be with you.

Dale, Dad and Pop Pop, you are forever in our hearts.

To the Glover Family,
My husband and I (Oton) were blessed to work with Dale at Isaac's. We wanted to send our heartfelt condolences to Barbara, Ryan and the entire family. Dale was an amazing man.....hard-working, kind, caring, and loyal. Oton worked in dispatch so him and Dale spent a lot of time together. He always talked about Barbara and Ryan and all grand kids - you could tell from his stories that he was completely in love with his wife and that he adored his son and grandkids - they were the apple of his eye as they say. The world has lost a great man and Isaac's has lost one of our own. May Dale rest in the sweetest peace and may all your memories sustain you in this difficult time.

Dale, Isaac's will never be the same without you.. You are loved, you are missed and you will never be forgotten.

Sincerely,
Nicole & Oton Rezende

Uncle Dale,
You were one of the best men I have ever known. Your heart and love radiated onto everyone you knew. I cherish all of the memories we have had all over the years. From holidays, vacations at Bethany, and weddings. Every one remains close to my heart. Your sense of humor and laughter made the room smile. I can imagine you hugging me and kissing me on the forehead saying, “I love ya, darlin.” May your soul Rest In Peace and watch over all of us. We love you endlessly and thank you for all of the memories.

Aunt Barbara, Ryan, Denise, Harry, Lainie, and Marshall,
My heart breaks for all of you. I love you all so much and I’m here for you if you need anything at all. I wish I could do more to help. I will see you all soon and we will celebrate Uncle Dale.

Dear Barbara,
I feel like I know you from all the stories told by Dale during our time on dispatch. I will never forget with how much love and passion he was talking for you, his son and all his grandkids. He was my partner of crime, my support and father figure. He will be never forgotten and dispatch will be not the same.

Be strong and know that we all in Isaac's are feeling that we lost a family member not just colleague.

Sending you hugs and I know that he is now on better place with his loved dad.

Lots if love and respect,
Sofia (dispatcher for more than year with Dale)

Dear Barbara and the Glover family,

I am deeply saddened by the passing of one of the closest friend i had in the states. Dale was a very kind man, a great colleague and a very good friend. He always tell me stories about you and how excited he was to go home after work so he could spend his time with his beautiful wife, Barbara. He was like a father figure to me and he tells me a lot of things about life and i appreciate all of it. He is someone i will never forget and i am thankful to know a good mentor like him.

Barbara, my deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. May God give you the peace and strength that you seek. Dale loves you so much, and i am very sure he is very happy on the life he had, and the memories he had with you and your family.

Dale, may you rest in peace. I may not have seen you for these past years, but you are someone i will always look up to. You are a great person. Goodbye my friend. We will surely miss you.

Dear Barbara and all of the Glover Family,

Sincere condolences for your loss.
Dale will be greatly missed.

Dale had a great spirit and genuine kindness. We shared the love of music, many laughs and chat about our families. Dale was so passionate about his love of family.

The photo attached is one I took after he won a Breast Cancer Awareness scarf at one of our many office golf tournaments. Dale being the humorous and fun loving guy, decided to wear it before he would take it home to Barbara.

Rest in eternal peace my friend,

With deepest sympathy,

Patty McKay
