Born in Hyannis, MA, she was the loving daughter of the late Ronald and Blanche (Rogers) Merriam. She was a lifelong resident of Sandwich, MA.
Debra had worked as a shift leader for Dunkin' Donuts for several years. Everyday she looked forward to seeing her customers and starting their day off positive. Debra touched or influenced every person that she came in contact with, whether she knew them or not. Her laugh and smile were infectious and she always managed to make a bad day a little brighter. She was always willing to donate her time to help others including volunteering with the Sandwich Citizens Police Academy.
Her whole life was devoted to her daughter Amanda, which made their bond inseparable. Debra always enjoyed adventures with Amanda, especially their annual road trips. She loved life and lived it to the fullest, with no regrets. She was cherished by all of Amanda’s friends who she treated as her own.
She is survived by her daughter Amanda L. Pederzani of Sandwich, MA. Her loving pets Gia, Bella and Piper. Her lifelong friend Heather Marshall of Sandwich, MA. Her brother Charles Merriam and his wife Anne of East Sandwich, MA. Her Aunt Andra Silva of Bourne, MA. As well as her nieces, nephews, many cousins and all of those who called her Mom.
All family and friends are welcome to attend a visitation from 5-7pm on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home at 154 MA-6A, Sandwich, MA.
