Hugh Darrell Mick

Hugh D. Mick was raised in Medfield, Massachusetts and moved to Millis, Massachusetts where he served as a Millis Police Sergeant for 20 years. He was the first motorcycle patrolman for the Town of Millis.

Hugh is survived by his 2 children, Corlyne Powers of Sandwich, and Hugh Gregory Mick of Hyannis, his 7 grandchildren, Air Force Master Sergeant Michael Powers and his wife Heather Powers of Virginia, Christine Powers, Blakely Powers, Jesse Powers and Liam Powers all of Sandwich, Massachusetts, Julia Mick and State Trooper Jacob Mick of Northborough, and his sister Joan Spidle of Osprey, Florida.

Hugh loved many things, above all, he loved his wife of 63 years, Lorna Mick, who recently predeceased him. Hugh enjoyed traveling and always loved a good ball game. He loved spending time with his family and capturing those memories on video. Hugh liked to help people and could fix just about anything. Hugh will be missed by all, and we take comfort that he is with his wife again.

A military service will be announced this upcoming spring.
