Janet Elizabeth Richards

Janet Elizabeth Richards 79 a life long resident of Sandwich Ma passed away Sunday June 28, 2026 after a brief illness. The daughter of the late Joseph Leithwood Lloyd Maclean and the late Laura Caroline MacLean. Janet was married to the late Larry Wayne Richards of West Virginia. Janet is survived by her brother Edwin L. MacLean of Sandwich. Her son Thomas E. Richards and his wife Tammy L. Richards of Sandwich. Her son David W. Richards of Mashpee. Her grandson Peter Maynard of Colorado. Her granddaughter Meagan Richards of Rhode Island and her great grandson Lincoln Schenck of Rhode Island. Janet graduated from Sandwich high school and then went on to the nursing program at UCCR of Bourne. Janet worked at Cape Cod Hospital for a period of 30 years until her retirement. She was a member of several clubs, the singles club, the gardening club and the book club. Janet along with her brother Edwin owned and operated Dunroamin Trailer Park and Cottages in Sandwich for over a period of 45 years. Family and friends are welcomed to attend a church service at St. John’s Episcopal Church Sandwich Thursday July 2, 2026 at 1:30.
