
Born November 11, 1926 in Bradenton, Fl., she was the eldest of eight children of the late George and Margaret (Holland) Morrow. She was the beloved wife of the late Norman J. Hatt for 55 yrs. She was predeceased by her sister Margo Meyer and brothers George and Robert Morrow. Jean graduated from Pleasantville High School in 1945 and worked at Chase Manhattan Bank in NYC where she met her husband. Jean and Norm enjoyed raising their family in Lake Katrine, NY where she was active in St. Catherine Laboure Altar Rosary Society, PTA, Ulster Library, as well as organizations in E. Sandwich and Leesburg. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and wintering in Fl. A devoted wife, mother and grand- mother, Jean will be remembered most for her optimism, lively conversations, generous heart and devotion to family. Reunions of the Morrow clan were very special to her. She leaves behind three children, Kathleen Nerp and her husband Jeff, Judy VanGorden and her husband Glen, Daniel Hatt and his wife Carole, all of NY; grandchildren Ryan and Kerry Nerp, Craig, Mark, Megan and Andrea VanGorden, Courtney, Allison, and Emily Hatt; brother John Morrow, and sisters Helen Dunican, Carole Hogan and Mabel Spino, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be 4-7 Monday, Sept. 15, at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Rt. 6A, Sandwich, MA. Funeral Mass 10:30 Tues., Sept.16 at Corpus Christi Church, 324 Quaker Meeting House Rd., E. Sandwich, MA. Burial will follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery.
