

Born in Bourne, MA, on August 27, 1956, he was the son of Marie (Billert) Bekoff and Joseph L. Maloney. He was also predeceased by his stepfather, Joseph Bekoff. He grew up in Sandwich, MA, alongside his siblings: Karen Maloney and her husband, Dennis Saluti; Colleen Maloney Foley; Kellie Maloney Fillebrown and her husband, Scott; and James “JP” Maloney and his wife, Julie.
He is survived by his children: Sarah Glosson and her husband, Chris, of Marstons Mills, MA, and their sons, Henry and Theodore; Joshua Maloney and his wife, Dee, also of Marstons Mills; and Cindy Weber and her husband, Phil, of Pembroke, MA, and their daughters, Lily, Sadie, and one on the way. He also leaves behind many beloved relatives and lifelong friends.
A graduate of Cape Cod Technical School, Joe was a skilled tradesman and the former owner of Joe’s Auto Sales in Hyannis. Known for his sharp wit and generous heart, he’d give you the shirt off his back, possibly while trying to sell you a car.
Later in life, Joe relocated to Florida, where he took great pride in building and maintaining his home in Dunnellon. He enjoyed golfing, cooking, biking, and working on cars.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
