The wife of the late Duncan J. Sullivan, she was born and raised in Lowell and graduated from Lowell High School and Lowell Technical College. With her family she lived in France, Texas, Ohio, and South Korea before moving to Cape Cod in 1974.
She is survived by four sons and daughters in law, Gary and Deborah Sullivan of Sandwich, Duncan and Dodie Sullivan of Blue Hill, Maine, Christopher and Patricia Sullivan of Duxbury, and David and Alison Sullivan of Newton, and a daughter Marianne Sullivan of Bournedale. She was the grandmother of Sean Sullivan, Kathleen Hodge, Kristen Sullivan, Michelle George, Michael Ahern, Ryan Sullivan, Kelly Sullivan, Timothy Sullivan, Duncan Sullivan, and Olivia Sullivan. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and two sisters Dorothy Manchenton of Tucson, Arizona and Carol Brown of Hyannis. She was predeceased by a sister Mary Ready and a brother William Higgins.
Visiting hours are from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 20 at the Nickerson Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A in Sandwich. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21 at Corpus Christi, 324 Quaker Meetinghouse Road, East Sandwich. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, off Connery Avenue in Bourne.
