Born November 24, 1963 to Lawrence and Barbara Phillips, Larry spent most of his youth in the town of Weymouth, MA. After his Graduation from Weymouth High School, Larry founded his new home in the town of Sandwich, MA.
Larry’s love of Travel and automotive fueled his career pursuits of Cargo and Freight transportation. He, along with his wife; Deborah Ford Phillips, established their own trucking company, D&L Trucking. It was well known that Larry had a fondness for the open road, as did his co-pilot, a dachshund name Coco.
While Larry found his hobbies in Harley Davidson, New England Dragway, Big Rigs, down to R/C cars; his passion was always his friends and family. Larry enjoyed his time barbequing with his children, bringing laughter and smiles to his grandchildren, and reminiscing with his wife, family, and friends.
Larry always valued strength and independence; rarely speaking of his battles with diabetes, kidney disease, and dialysis. Larry refused to let his illness define him and limit his goals, he remained working through each stage of his diagnoses.
Those left to treasure Larry’s love are his wife, Deborah; children – Anthony, Patrick, Samantha, and Zachary; Siblings – Toby Phillips and Tracy Antonowicz; grandchildren – Noah Lawrence and Jaxson Charles; as well as many friends, family, and loved ones.
A memorial gathering is set to honor Larry’s life and memory from 3pm to 7pm, September 8th, 2018 at the American Legion; 20 Main St. Sandwich, MA 02563”
