Linda was born in Quincy, MA, on July 04, 1946, to the late Clifton and Ester Sheppard of Weymouth. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Clifton Sheppard of Milford, MA; and Neil Sheppard of Lake Worth, FL. Linda graduated from Weymouth High School in 1964. She married Joseph Calvert on August 10, 1968.
Linda was happiest when surrounded by family and friends sharing good food and homemade wine. Always viewing the glass half full, she was known for her sunny personality and feisty sense of humor. Her kindness and patience were immeasurable, and her love for family and friends shone through in everything she did. She had many talents, especially hand-appliqued baby quilts and other one-of-a-kind gifts. Linda enjoyed the outdoors and was particularly fond of birds and flowers.
Linda is survived by her loving family of husband Joseph and canine “bed buddy” Gypsy; son Lance and daughter-in-law Lisa, currently of Fort Drum, NY; son Brian, daughter-in-law Kerry, and grandchildren Brynn, Landon, and Cameron, of Buffalo, NY; and son Jason, daughter-in-law Jen, and granddaughter Kensington, of Mashpee, MA. She is also survived by her nephew Chris Sheppard of Lakeville, MA; niece Debbie Sheppard Haslam of West Bridgewater, MA; and nephew Adam Sheppard of Lake Worth, FL.
