MASHPEE — Marina (Nerone) Sincerny died Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Cape Cod Hospital. She was the wife of Donald W. Sincerny. She was born in Fall River, Massachusetts. Marina was the daughter of the late Augustine and Ruth Nerone.
She was raised in Bristol, R.I. and, following high school, she attended the Newport Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Women and Infants Hospital for 32 years. She loved knitting, playing cards, yard-saling, cooking, camping and being with her family.
Besides her husband, Marina is survived by her children, Maria S. Martone of Mashpee, Nicole Lantery of Montgomery Center, VT, and Michele S. Lambert of Marstons Mills; six grandchildren; and two sisters who reside in R.I.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, Sandwich. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 23, 2011 at Corpus Christi Parish, 324 Quaker Meeting House Road, East Sandwich, MA.
