Mary P. Reid

Mary P. (McMorrow) Reid, 87, of Buzzards Bay, MA. passed away on March 5, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She is widowed by her husband Thomas J. Reid to whom she shared 66 years of marriage.

Mary was born on April 21, 1936 to Patrick and Ella (Curran) McMorrow in Dorchester, MA. She attended and graduated from Simmons College where she earned an Associate of Science degree.

Mary is survived by her children Tom Reid and his wife Lisa of Braintree, MA., Sheila Broderick and her husband Ted of Halifax, MA., Tricia Brown and her husband Dan of Killeen, TX., Eileen McCusker and her husband Tom of Sandwich, MA., and Jackie Reid and her husband Chris Ellsasser of Orleans, MA. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren: Tommy, Nicole, and Amanda Reid; Daniel, Cameron, Reid, and Jack Broderick; Timothy and Andrew McCusker; Patrick and Mason Ellsasser. Mary was also expecting her first Great Grandchild later this summer.

A Visitation for Mary will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, Sandwich, MA 02563. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Thursday March 14, 2024 at 11AM, Corpus Christi Parish, 324 Quaker Meetinghouse Rd, Sandwich, MA. A graveside service will follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave, Bourne, MA.
