Mary Emily (Motta) Rocha, 86, of Sandwich passed away on August 2, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Patricia (Frade) Motta and the wife of the late Joseph Rocha. Mary is survived by her son, James Rocha (Candice) of Bridgewater and daughter, Patti Holt DiCicco of East Sandwich; 6 grandchildren: Paul and Janice Holt, Adrienne Holt (Shawn Trott), Becky Holt (Robert Mulrey), Chrissy and Rachel Rocha, and Heather Down (Nick); 4 great-grandchildren: Kileigh, Eric, and Meghan Holt and Morgan Mulrey; her brother Julius Motta and sister Ida Arouca.
Visiting hours will be held at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, Sandwich on Thursday, August 9 from 4-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 10 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 324 Quaker Meetinghouse Road, E. Sandwich at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
