Matt it’s hard to believe it’s been 2 years. I miss you like it was yesterday. I know you are watching over all of us.  Take care until we meet again.

I just can’t believe only one year has passed 🤔 It seems and feels like so much longer to me ….since I have seen him or talked with him😞 He always was quick to smile ….

Hard to believe it has been a year. Still miss seeing Matt he was our next door neighbor in Sandwich. 

I woke up with a strange feeling and wanted to reach out to Matt. I am sadden to come across his obituary. Matt and I were inseparable as young kids! every day including holidays we were at one another's house or playing outside. I am happy that I was able to track him down recently after 30 years.. but wish there had been more time. RIP Matt I will always love you and the times we had together.

I have struggled with the news of Matt's passing since it was announced. He was my store manager in store #2422 South Yarmouth.  I would see him in store #470 Sandwich almost every week when he did his shopping. He would seek me out to ask questions about someone or just wanted to get caught up. He was one of my top 5 favorites. He was one of my go to managers if I needed help or information about anything. He was always willing to help.  I spoke with many of my associates about his passing an it amazed me at the different rapport he had with the lives he touched.  He had this smirk he would give you to let you know you were ok.  I truly enjoyed his company, our friendship and his leadership. His style of leadership is one I truly admired. Matt you will be so greatly missed by so many.  Until we meet again I so hope you rest in peace. 

Matt was our next door neighbor and we always  enjoyed the times we were able to catch up with him, he was a busy man.  We send our condolences to his family and friends. RIP Matt.

So saddened to hear of Matt's passing. I knew Matt from Mashpee Stop & Shop, I work for Hallmark and he would always take the time from his busy day to say hello. Sending thoughts to his family.

I enjoyed our conversations together.  Matt always took time to stop and talk.  I welcomed him on his first day in Harwich.  I believe God needed a Handsome, Loving, Kind Man and it was time for Matt to fly with the angels.  The world will miss you very much.  But the Good they die young.  You are finally at peace Matt.












To Matt's family: I have only known Matt for a few months, but was immediately impressed with his friendly, positive spirit at our store. He always said hello, always made an effort to remember what might be going on in my world, and didn't hesitate to share a laugh with staff. What a significant, heartbreaking loss for all of us who got to see him regularly. It isn't the same. I am so very sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing him with us. 

I had the privilege to meet Matthew as my manager during his time at Mashpee store #87.  I was saddened to hear of his passing , I am glad our paths crossed on our journey but wished he had more time for life . To Matt’s family I hope as days move forward you find  peace and comfort .

Matt started at Stop and Shop working for me in the deli. He was a kind quit young man very determined to move up in the company.As we all know he succeeded in doing just that.He will truly be missed.Matt was always so nice to me whenever I saw him! Truly, Stacey
