Mike graduated from Duxbury High School in 1978. He joined the U.S Army August 4, 1978 and served with distinction for 4 years. He then went on to graduate from the Pipefitter’s Local 537 apprentice program in 1993.
Michael is survived by 2 children: Shawna Allison of NH, and Kyle Allison of Forestdale, MA. His sister Patricia Allison of Mashpee, and his parents George, and Doris Allison of Forestdale.
Michael was a free spirit who enjoyed life and all the beauty of nature.
Mike gave freely to his work and many talents to his family and friends.
He will be waked at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, Sandwich, MA on Sunday January 26th from 1-5pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday January 27th at 11am, Corpus Christi Parish, 324 Quaker Meeting House Rd. E. Sandwich. Burial will follow at Sandwich Town Cemetery.
