Ronald J. Parabicoli

PARABICOLI, Ronald J., of Sagamore Beach, MA formally of Framingham, MA, passed away at home on July 2, 2023, surrounded by his loving wife Rosalie (DeSantis) to whom shared 64 years together. He was born in Framingham to the late Zefferino and Christina Parabicoli on March 27, 1935.

Ronnie grew up in Framingham where he attended Framingham High School. He then went on and joined the United States Army, during the Korean conflict. After the military Ron became a Firefighter in Framingham after much schooling. He was on the department for 26 years. Once he and his wife moved to Sagamore Beach, he became a member of the American Legion Post 188 in Sandwich, MA. They were also parishioners at St. Margaret’s Parish in Buzzards Bay.

He enjoyed his time on the fire department but his true passions outside of working were when he could do landscape design for himself and clients. He made many friends along the way helping folk’s plant colorful flowers in their yard. You would say he was a "Jack of all Trades" as he did carpentry, and did masonry work as well. He loved spending time with his family on vacations to Rockland and Rockport, Maine. Where you could find him walking down the jetty with his bucket and fishing pole in hand.

Ronnie was a devoted father to Ronald J. Parabicoli, Jr. and his wife Adina of Conway, North Carolina and a proud grandfather to Gemma, and Rosa Parabicoli. He is survived by his brother; Robert Parabicoli of Maui, Hawaii. He is preceded in passing by his brother's; Richard Parabicoli of Ashland, MA, and Raymond Parabicoli of Ashland, MA, and his sister Irene Quarton of Whiting, NJ. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Graveside Memorial service will be held on Wednesday July 19th, 11AM, at St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Framingham, MA, 221 Concord St. or will show on GPS as Fenwick St. All are welcome to attend.
