Ruth Marie Souza, 82, of Forestdale, died August 8, 2011. She was the wife of the late Arthur Souza. She was born in Belmont, MA daughter of the late John William and Mary Louise (Shepardson) Mooney. During her working years she owned and operated AR Food Mart with her husband Arthur. In her spare time her life revolved around her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing Bingo, bird watching, the outdoors, car rides and spending days on Sandy Neck. She also volunteered for 10 years at Cape Heritage and the polls. She was also an avid Red Sox fan. She is survived by 3 sons Steven Souza, Tucker Souza and Dale Gorman; 4 grandchildren Patrick Souza, Samantha Souza, Zachary Souza and Stephen Gorman. A celebration of life will held at the American Legion Post 188, Sandwich from 2 to 5 PM Sunday August 14, 2011.
