Scott began his visits to East Sandwich Beach as a young boy and graduated from Sandwich High School in 1972. He then served in the Army National Guard. Once finished, he followed his father in the building/remodeling trade. Many properties along Cape Cod have a little touch of his talents. He also built several boats and other crafts for those he loved. Scott was happily involved with his children and their friends during BMX racing, trips to the Maine hunting camps, attending sporting events, cooking huge breakfasts for them, and putting on annual Clam Bakes with his East Sandwich crew. He was a regular at the breakfast counter of the "coffee shop" every morning for many years.
Scott lived a full life of boating, fishing, lobstering and hunting. He especially enjoyed camping at Boothbay Harbor, sneaking away to Ocracoke Island, NC. and weekends on Sandy Neck Beach, with his camper, his kites flying high. He was a collector of lanterns and spent many hours cleaning and repairing relics he found during his travels. If you understood Scott's humor you were a friend for life. And he had so many of those friends.
Scott is survived by his wife, Linda (Fagnant) Johnson, his Son Thomas A. Johnson and fiancee Anna Alexander, her children, Kayli, Maddie and Lylli, of East Sandwich. Daughter, Katy A.
