My family is very sad to hear of Freddie’s passing. We had such a great time growing up in the same neighborhood as Freddie and the Silvio’s playing pick up football, street hockey and baseball as kids and later in high school. Freddie was larger than life, funny and a great hockey goalie. You always knew when Freddie was in the room.

On behalf of the entire Galvin family please accept our condolences.

In his high school years
Freddie excelled and enjoyed playing sports, school plays and rock and roll.
He was the most proud of the fact that he was going to be serving his country after he got out of school.
He was a good, kind man who loved his family, his parents and mostly his brothers. Shine on you crazy diamond and fly high with your angels my friend.

Fred convinced me to go to work with him in the restaurant industry. Fred convinced me to join the Army. Fred became the godfather to my oldest daughter. Fred was the instrumental reason I became a man. I can't remember feeling as heartbroken as I do right now. I have so many memories of our time together and the things we did together. And the fun we had over the years. I will cherish every memory of the time I was blessed to be a part of Fred's life and as small a part I may have been, just like Fred, it was, and always will be, bigger than life to me.
I just want my friend back

I'll never forget the day i walked into the clubs kitchen with a restaurant size pan of jag and started to help you in the kitchen. You
were glad to finally get some help and eventually I took over the kitchen, but was always there to help me if i needed it. You will never be forgotten and i will miss you.. Now i guess i have to keep up the clubs meals by myself and bobby z. Rest in peace my friend
