Born in Quincy, MA a son of the late Thomas and Bernice (Crossman) Manley, and preceded by his brother Thomas A. Manley.
Graduated from Norwood High School 1965, and Bridgewater State. He was a veteran of the United States Army, served in Vietnam, and was awarded the Purple Heart in 1969.
He was the owner of Manley Contracting business for many years.
Besides his companion he is survived by his loving children, Heather (Michael) Buckley, of Mansfield, Christopher (Kelley) Manley of East Bridgewater, Mark (Daina) Manley of Sandwich, John (Erin) Manley of Sandwich, Kathryn Manley of Norwood. Also survived by his two nieces Sharon Smith (Timothy Welch) of Sandwich and Kimberly (Gregory) Lannigan of Sandwich, 14 grandchildren, Levi, McKenna, Madison, Andrew, Madelyn, Micheal, Emma, Jacob, Cole, Dylan, Brandon, Bryce, Robert and Nicholas. Also his friend and mother of his children Janet A. Manley. Along with many special family and friends.
For the past 20 years Steve enjoyed life to the fullest, wintering in Venice, FL where he enjoyed trips to the beach, walks at the park, dinners out and a beer on his Lanai!!
