So sorry to hear of Steves passing.  In the late 60s the lawn at the family house needed cutting quite badly, and Steve offered me 4.50$, which was honestly a huge amount at the time for such a small lawn.
Steve you were a great guy.  Youll be missed.  Condolences to the family.

This is a poem that Stevie wrote for me and Roger  Christmas eve 1994.  It is a cherished poem from a loving man who will me missed by everyone. My heart is aching for you Bridget.

For over forty five years I had Steve as a friend and associate, never a dull moment. My children all called him uncle as he was a real part of our family. We will all miss him, dearly.

Our friendship went beyond our  years at Sandwich High School. Remembering those many afternoons on my way home from work,stopping by The Country Kitchen almost daily for a visit. Steve knows he inspired me  to take a  chance. Be at Peace My Friend.
