William Louis Bazzinotti

He was born on February 15th, 1934 – in Boston, MA. He lived in South Boston most of his life – until he moved to East Sandwich in 2018. Bill proudly served his country as an Army Veteran during the time of the Korean War.

William was a highly skilled precision sheet metal worker and served as Vice President of Commercial Sheet Metal in Canton, MA for many years. Some of William’s favorite ways to pass time were collecting Military Memorabilia – going to Car shows – Flea Markets - and spending time with his family. Also

going to the North End, watching baseball games, being an aquarium enthusiast, and tools of any kind collector.

Bill was a parishioner and a regular communicant at Corpus Christi Parish for the past five years.

Bill’s beloved partner was the late Claire M. Searson of Canton, and he was the survivor of his late wife Annette H. Bazzinotti of Pembroke.

Devoted father of Lynnette J. Guyette and her husband Deacon Leonard Guyette of East Sandwich. The late William Bazzinotti Jr. - who served his country in the United States Army - and his wife Jacqueline Benedict Bazzinotti of Abington. Joseph A. Bazzinotti and his partner Bruce Simmons of Plymouth. Patricia A. Merritt and her Husband Jeffrey Merritt of Carver. Laura J. Anderson and her husband Brian Anderson of Hanson. Amy M. O’Donnell and her husband Scott O’Donnell of Kingston.

Cherished Grandfather of Corinne Bazzinotti, Matthew Merritt, Jessica Merritt, Amanda Anderson, Alyse Anderson, Angela Anderson, Alexis O’Donnell and Shayna O’Donnell. Loving brother of John Bazzinotti, Louis Bazzinotti, Ernest Bazzinotti, Joseph Bazzinotti, Anthony Bazzinotti, Anna Massa, Margaret Green, Jean Corcoran, Mary McHugh, and Rita O’Dell.

Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Corpus Christi Parish 324 Quaker Meetinghouse Road East Sandwich. Visitation prior to funeral mass from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 154 Route 6A Sandwich, MA. Interment at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 13, 2023 at Cedar Grove Cemetery 920 Adams Street Dorchester, MA.
