William Francis Lemieux, born September 5, 1933 in Taunton, Massachusetts as the youngest child of Philip and Julia (Masterson), left us on Wednesday, January 19. Bill served proudly in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. His family was most important to him, including his loving wife Mary (Addesa) with whom he went on to raise a wonderful family.
Bill had three children: Toby (Katy), Erin (Rich Bagen), and Mike (Jenny), along with two grandchildren (Ian and Chad). Mary and Bill met when he was doing what he enjoyed most — building homes and incredible woodworking. In fact, Bill built and Mary designed the house, that they made a home in Sandwich. Weekends were enjoyed with his kids during trips to the Sandwich duck pond, McNeils Bakery or events, games and horse shows they were involved in. Summers were spent at “the cottage” in Maine, where he was continually working on something to bring his and Mary’s dream to fruition for their family. Bill is, was and always will be a good human and will be missed by all - thanks, Dad! In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a United States Veterans organization of your choice.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Corpus Christi 324 Quaker Meetinghouse Road East Sandwich. Interment to follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
