Alberto Sanchez-Moreno

Alberto Sanchez-Moreno, 60, of Atlanta died on Sunday, the 13th of April 2014. Albert was a poster child for the March of Dimes in the 1950’s. A graduate of Georgia State University, he loved classical music, musical theater, and films. His knowledge of them was encyclopedic, and he used that knowledge as a master editor for Wikipedia and as a major contributor to the Internet Movie Database. He wrote movie reviews some of which aired on WABE radio in Atlanta. Albert was also a perennial champion of causes for the disabled. Surviving are his parents, Dr. Hugo and Mrs. Alida (Lala) Sanchez-Moreno of Atlanta, sister and brother-in-law, Ana and Randy Southern of West Chester, PA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Hugo and Kasia S. Moreno of Brooklyn, NY, Carlos S. Moreno and Genevieve Fairbrother, MD of Atlanta; nieces, Leora, Sarah, Grace, Emma; and nephew, Ian. A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, the 16th of April at three o’clock at All Saints Catholic Church, Dunwoody. Monsignor Hugh Marren Celebrant.
