Ann Gross, 86, of Atlanta, died June 17, 2018. Mrs. Gross was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended the University of Cincinnati, where she met her future husband, Carl. During the course of their sixty-six year marriage, they relocated to Atlanta, had five children and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid and accomplished bridge player and a treasured friend to many, but most importantly, she was a loving wife and mother. She was predeceased by her daughter, Julie Gross Willingham; her son, John Edward Gross; and two grandsons. She is survived by her husband, Carl R. Gross, Sr., and sons Carl R. Gross, Jr. (Kathy); Michael J. Gross (Jodi); and Robert A. Gross (Marie), as well as twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all of whom loved her and will miss her dearly.
A memorial service will be Thursday, June 21 at 12:00 noon, with the family receiving visitors beginning at 11:00 at H. M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Flowers will be appreciated, or those wishing to may make contributions to a charity of their choice.
