Annette Brisendine Satterfield, of Atlanta, died on June 9, 2026. She was born in Atlanta on October 1, 1943, and was the only daughter of Wesley and Roberta Brisendine. She was a loyal graduate of The Westminster Schools and Duke University. Remaining in academia, she was the Registrar for Clayton State University and then Associate Registrar for Georgia Tech. She was a dedicated and engaged member of Peachtree Church.
Characteristic to her attention to detail, Ms. Satterfield was a loyal cousin and friend, sending personalized and heartfelt wishes for special occasions. She made deep impressions on those she knew – business and other contacts became friends who treasured her care for and interest in them. She was predeceased by her parents and by her former husband, Jim Satterfield. She is survived by nieces and a host of cousins in multiple generations. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 22, at 11am at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, Atlanta. Visitation with the family will begin at 10am. Her remains will be buried in a private family service.
