Mrs. Beatrice Marcus Smith, 92, of Atlanta died Sunday the 28th of December at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Sara Schinofsky Marcus and Joseph Marcus. She was beloved by her children Lawrence (Linda) Smith, Debbie Smith (Joel Lobel), and Mindy (David) Landau. She was adored by her grandchildren Jason (Allison) Smith, Sara (Evan) Loft, David Ognibene, Brian Smith, Marisa and Alex Landau and her great grandchildren, Abigail and Jordan Smith and Dylan and Emerson Loft. She is survived by her loving husband Marty. She was the cherished sister of Bernard Marcus and was preceded in death by her brothers, Irving and Seymour Marcus. Funeral services will be held on Monday, the 29th of December, at two o'clock at Patterson's Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328, 404-851-9900. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ian's Friends Foundation (IFF.org) or Marcus Autism Center.
