Beverly Gail Walker

Beverly A. Walker, Marietta, GA, age 57passed away on Sept 27, 2011 after a lengthy, determined, courageous and heroic battle with cancer, Beverly was preceded in death by her father, James Anderson. Survivors include her mother, Dorothy White of Erin, TN; brother, James Michael Anderson, of White Bluff, TN; nieces: Angela D. Anderson, of Columbus, Ohio; Heather P. Anderson, of Stuart, FL; nephew, Michael Anderson, of Jackson, TN; great-nephew: Tyler Anderson, of Columbus, OH. Her beloved pet Yorkies: Megan, Molli, and Abby; her extended family and many beloved, long time friends.

She was born in Detroit, Michigan and raised in Erin, TN. Beverly was a graduate of Austin Peay State University, TN and began her working career as a high school Math Teacher. The majority of her working years were in the global insurance market place, in highly respected positions in Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX, and in Indianapolis, IN. She maintained homes in Marietta, GA (20+ years) and Dallas, TX, with an extensive network of friends. She enjoyed frequent travels domestically and abroad. Beverly loved antique auctions, estate sales, and was an avid antiques dealer and collector.

Beverly will always be remembered by her family, friends, and colleagues for her loving, honest intelligent, tenacious, and dedicated approach to life. A celebration of Beverly’s life will be held at 11:00 o’clock, Saturday, October 1, 2011, at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, Sandy Springs, GA, 30328. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. The family will hold entombment in a private family gathering.
