Bhupinderpal Kaur Garcha – known to her many friends as Deep – passed away on April 24, 2026. She was a long-time resident of Sandy Springs, GA. Born in India on September 7, 1939, Bhupinderpal was the daughter of the late Gurpal and Gurdev Chatha. After earning a master’s in history and then marrying, she moved to the United States in 1968. In 1970, she came to Sandy Springs, where she worked as a bank teller for many years. Upon retiring, she became an active member of The Atlanta Center of Self-Realization Fellowship. Mrs. Garcha is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bikramjit Singh Garcha; sons, Iqbal Garcha (Stephanie), Amanpal Garcha (Danielle Demko); grandchildren, Andrew and Alex Garcha, Violet and Vivian Demko-Garcha; sister, Iqbal Kalkat; and brother, Jaspal Chatha. A service will be held Sunday, May 10th at 4:00pm at SEWA Gurdwara Sahib, 10590 Woodstock Road, Roswell, GA 30075.
