

Charles Walter Jamison, Jr. (Wally) passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2015. He was a true native Atlantan and loved his city and his southern roots. Wally spent most of his professional life as a residential home builder throughout Atlanta. His love of horses, which began at Chastain Horse Park as a boy was present throughout his life, which was reflected in making pastoral Milton his home. He enjoyed volunteering as a coach for his children's sports teams and Umpired for many years once they were grown. Wally will be remembered for his boyish good looks and deep baritone voice.
Wally, son of the late Charles and Marianne (Smith) Jamison, is survived by his three children, David Jamison of Port Charlotte, FL, Lauren Jamison Cole, of Milton, and Jessica Jamison, of Atlanta. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ryan, Anna Claire, Miller, and Marin, and former wife, Lyndy Jamison. He is survived by his brother, Bobby Jamison, Alpharetta, and 3 sisters, Nancy Phelts, Debby Jamison Wood, and Sandra Pearson all of Atlanta. Wally is also survived by many wonderful nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a host of loving friends.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, April 18, 2015, at H.M. Patterson, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, Sandy Springs, GA, 30328 at 2:00p.m. A visitation and gathering will be held at 1:00p.m. prior to the service. A private family interment will be at Arlington Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Therapeutic Program at Chastain Horse Park.
