Charles Fred Nail, age 50 of Atlanta, died of cancer on October 3, 2012. Chuck was born in Marshall, MI on February 5, 1962 to James Ray and Louisa Nail. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1980 and from USC in 1984. After navigator training at Mather Air Force Base in California Chuck served at Altus in Oklahoma, Charleston, SC, and then in Atlanta, GA. He was honorably discharged in 2001. Surviving are his parents, Louisa and Ray Nail; sisters, Judy (Richard) Smith, Linda (Tom) Peet, Jane (Jeff) Kaiser, Lucy (Larry) Musselman; brothers, James D. (Donna) Nail, Lawrence (Jeannie) Nail, Dennis Nail, Harold (Pat) Nail, and Randy Nail; one aunt; two uncles; 12 nieces and nephews; 13 great nieces and great nephews; and numerous cousins. A memorial service will be Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11 o’clock at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
